Job summary

Cascade Health Services is hiring for a kitchen support role to help operate the kitchen, ensuring sanitized dishes and sufficient stock while assisting the cook with meal prep for smooth kitchen flow. The position offers a team environment recognized as a Great Place to Work U.S Certified.

Schedule includes Wed/Thu/Fri 5:00am-1:00pm and Sat/Sun 12:00pm-8:00pm with pay of $10 per hour. Responsibilities include following directions, prep tasks, cooking and serving, maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year prior experience in food service; long term care preferred.
• Must be fully COVID19 vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods.
• Serve and bus trays.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
