Job summary

Cibolo Creek Health in Texas is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily meal preparation and sanitation. You will help assemble dishes, assist cooks, and ensure smooth kitchen operations during shifts listed in the posting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow oral and written directions.
• Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods.
• Serve and bus trays.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

This position supports the operation of the kitchen by maintaining properly sanitized and a sufficient stock of dishes and assist the cook with meal prep to ensure the orderly flow of the kitchen systems.

Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - 5:00am - 1:00pm, Saturday & Sunday - 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Pay: $10 per hour
