Job summary

The Bon Secours St Elizabeth Boardman Hospital dietary team is seeking a friendly and reliable culinary assistant to support patients with meals. You will assist with menu selections, deliver meals promptly, and ensure accuracy according to dietary orders while delivering warm, courteous service.

This role requires at least 18 years of age, neat appearance, ability to work in a team, and clear English communication. Prior culinary or foodservice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Job Description

We're looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

• Wage: $15/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Boardman St Elizabeth
