Job summary

Valley Vue Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide for the evening shift (4:30p-7:30p). This PRN position supports residents with meals, ensuring dietary needs are met and safety standards are followed.

You will help record temperatures, keep kitchen and equipment clean, and contribute to a compassionate, high-standard dining service. Minimum education is a 10th grade, with skilled nursing foodservice experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals according to dietary needs.
• Ensure items for each meal meet residents' dietary needs and safety.
• Record temperatures and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of care and attention to detail.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
