Job summary

Avantara Redfield is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide for the evening shift from 2pm to 9pm to support residents with meals and dietary needs. You will help ensure items meet diet plans and assist in providing high-quality care.

You will monitor food temperatures, maintain safety, and keep kitchen and dietary equipment clean, contributing to a comfortable and safe dining environment for residents. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Record temperatures to ensure food safety and sanitation.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Redfield by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
