Job summary

Fair Oaks Health and Rehab in Fairfax, VA is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our compassionate dining team. You will assist with meal prep, delivery, and dining service while ensuring resident diets and preferences are respected.

With a focus on safety and sanitation, you will work closely with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff to maintain clean dining and kitchen areas. Benefit from PTO, daily pay, and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and dietary requirements.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to interact professionally and compassionately with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents.

• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

• Work closely with the Dietary Manager, Cook, and dietary team.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents.
• Follow all facility policies and food service guidelines.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour based on experience
