Job summary
Excel at Woodbury for Rehab & Nursing is seeking a Diet Tech to join the clinical nutrition team. The incumbent will provide food and nutrition services under the supervision of the RDN and help ensure quality resident care.
The position involves performing nutrition screenings, developing care plans, educating residents, and participating in interdisciplinary meetings. Shift is Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401k.
Qualifications
- Licensed Diet Tech or bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition.
- Working knowledge of Diet tech, a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition screenings.
- Develop and implement nutrition interventions and plans of care by documenting data and providing nutrition education.
- Monitor residents’ intake of meals, snacks, and medical foods and adjust care plans as needed.
- Complete MDS documentation and RAP summaries under supervision.
- Participate in QAPI activities and quality improvement efforts.
- Maintain competency and time management to meet productivity standards.
