Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a Diet Technician (FT, PT, PRN) to join our Nutrition Team at an acute care medical center in City, State. The role supports dietitians with data collection, menu planning, and patient meal selections.

We require a DTR credential (preferred) and a Bachelor’s in Nutrition or related field; hospital experience is a plus. This on-site position offers full- and part-time schedules and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related Science is required.
• One year hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, EMR & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection and nutrition screening.
• Assists patients in completing menu selections.
• Follows all guidelines in Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Complies with federal, state, and accrediting standards while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs and Quality Assurance initiatives.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Diet Technician (FT, PT, PRN) to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in City, State.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning
• Assists patients in completing menu selections
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Trains and mentor’s patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related Science, required
• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
