Job summary

This role requires basic math, strong English literacy, and experience with hospital diet processes; you will verify tray line accuracy and communicate with the kitchen to ensure high‑quality patient meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with coursework in diet/nutrition preferred.
• Strong English reading/writing and basic math skills required.
• Experience in hospital diet office or food service environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process diet orders and patient tray changes accurately.
• Obtain patient menu selections via HealthTouch and adjust as prescribed.
• Check trays against diet orders for accuracy before delivery.
• Communicate effectively with nursing and kitchen staff to ensure quality service.
• Maintain records of diet modifications and special diets as applicable.
