Job summary

Texas Health Huguley is seeking a dedicated dietary services team member to guide patients through meal choices and ensure meals align with prescribed diets. You will verify patient identifiers, ensure tray accuracy, and address any foodservice concerns to improve patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include assembling and delivering therapeutic meals, maintaining timeliness, and working up to 12-hour shifts in a clean, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the meal ordering process using a computerized diet office system and verify identifiers during meal delivery.
• Ensure trays are accurate and that patients have everything they need before leaving the room to support a positive dining experience.
• Round on patients and nursing staff to identify and resolve foodservice concerns and implement service recovery to improve patient experience scores.
• Assemble and deliver trays according to therapeutic diet guidelines and presentation standards, maintaining timely and accurate service across all patient areas.
• Perform physically active duties including walking long distances, standing for extended periods, and working up to 12-hour shifts while keeping a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
