Scripps Health in Encinitas seeks a Diet Clerk to join our Encinitas team in a part-time, non-benefitted role located at Scripps Memorial campus. You will work a varied shift including weekends, supporting patient meals and diet orders.

Responsibilities

• Processing diet orders and assisting patients with menu selections, distinguishing between food and medication allergies, maintaining current diet orders and menus to ensure physician diet order compliance
• Checking tray line for patient tray accuracy
• Able to function effectively in a call center environment
• Acting as a liaison between Nursing and Food and Nutrition Services departments to handle patient complaints, food issues and basic questions about meals/diets

Job description

This is a part-time non-benefitted position located at our Scripps Memorial campus in Encinitas. Must be available to work a varied shift (start time will be dependent upon the department's need) and varied schedule including weekends.
