Job summary

Seacrest Village in Encinitas, CA is seeking a Part Time AM Shift Dietary/ Dining Aide to support meal service for residents. The role offers an hourly wage of $19.50–$21.00 and is located at Encinitas, CA 92024. Join a warm, inclusive team dedicated to respect, care, and dignity for residents.

Responsibilities include preparing trays per diet orders, applying diet rosters, and assisting with resident meal preferences—all while maintaining a safe, clean dining environment during the AM shift.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment physical/TB test.
• Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by licensure.
• Food Handlers' certification.
• Knowledge of facility, services, menus, and policies; accommodate resident needs.
• Set up trays and dining room tables per guest preferences and diet orders.
• Follow diet rosters and tray tickets for accuracy of therapeutic and texture modified diets.
• Obtain meal preferences and report food preferences and intolerances.

• Knowledge of facility, services, menus (including entrées and their ingredients), job duties, kashrut/kosher dietary laws, and policies and procedures, and/or can seek information to accommodate resident/guest needs and assure safe and efficient work environment
• Set up trays and dining room tables per guest preferences and diet orders. Follow seating arrangements and notify Diet Aide or manager of conflicts or changes
• Follow diet rosters and tray tickets for accuracy of therapeutic and texture modified diets, allergies, preferences, dining room, and other special needs. Notify diet aide or RDN prior to making any modifications.
• Obtain meal preferences for individuals who have not completed the weekly menu. Record and report food preferences and intolerances to RD and Diet Aide.
