Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Diet Clerk for a full-time role at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The position handles patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions under the supervision of the Patient Services Manager. Hours span 7:00 am to 8:30 pm with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and collects menus.
• Assists patients in completing menu selections per prescribed diet.
• Offers alternatives to menu respecting allergies and cultural preferences.
• Plans regular and modified menus based on current diet manual.
• Prepares and distributes supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula.
• May handle preparation, distribution, inventory of human/donor milk and infant formula.
• Maintains confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
• Complies with federal, state, and JCAHO/TJC standards.
• Completes required documentation, reports and logs.
• Follows infection-control policies in the facility.
• Participates in Performance Improvement programs and teams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
