Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Food Service Assistant II for Elmhurst Hospital. This per diem role covers evening shifts (3:00 PM - 8:00 PM) with rotating weekends/holidays. The position involves preparing and serving meals, delivering to patients and staff, and ensuring food safety and quality.

Required: ANSI-accredited Food Handler Training within 30 days. Preferred: HS Diploma/GED and 1+ year healthcare food service experience.

Qualifications

• Certification: Successful completion of a Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date, required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or serve foods and beverages in healthcare food service environments.
• Assemble, serve and/or deliver meals to patients and staff in an efficient, professional, and timely manner.
• Ensure food safety and quality for patients, visitors and staff.
