• Location: UChicago Medicine Advent Health Bolingbrook - 500 Remington Boulevard, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: On call schedule. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Distribute and collect menus.
• Assist patients with menu selections in accordance with prescribed diets.
• Offer alternatives based on allergies, sensitivities, and preferences.
• Plan and prepare menus based on diet manuals.
• Manage supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formulas.
• Handle the preparation and management of human/donor milk and infant formula if applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, regulatory standards, and policies.
• Complete documentation, reports, and logs.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
