  • We are hiring immediately for full-time Diet Clerk positions.
  • Location: Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center - 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time; days may vary, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Twelve-hour shifts. Rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous customer service experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.

  • Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Distribute and collect menus.
  • Assist patients with menu selections, ensuring compliance with prescribed diets.
  • Offer menu alternatives based on allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
  • Plan menus according to the current diet manual.
  • Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formulas accurately and timely.
  • Manage human/donor milk and infant formula as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and patient rights policies.
  • Follow regulatory standards and complete documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
