This position involves supervising and performing maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles used by the Army in various mission-critical roles. Responsibilities include inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, adjusting, and testing wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment, and automotive electrical systems.
10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 14 weeks of Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA, including classroom and field instruction. Skills learned include automotive troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
