Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diesel engine repair: 1+ years’ experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and direct workforce in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist and move continuously.
• Experience in heavy-duty truck and trailer shop preferred.
• Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic air brake maintenance and related brake work.
• Understand suspensions, axles, and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring systems and lighting.
• Perform minor body repairs and undercarriage maintenance.
• Weld steel components and use hand tools.
• Operate in a safety-conscious, team-oriented shop environment.
