Job summary

Messer North America, Inc. is seeking a Truck Mechanic to perform routine, preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on Messer commercial motor vehicles. You will support regional maintenance teams with new tech installation and ongoing support.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts management, safety compliance, and documenting work orders. A CDL is preferred; a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years mechanical experience or diesel mechanic trade school certification (CTE qualifies).
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance: mileage & time-based checks and visual inspections.
• Corrective maintenance: repair equipment and plan actions; troubleshoot with diagnostic tools.
• Manage parts inventory, shipping/receiving, and organized storeroom.
• Follow safety guidelines and lifting/bending requirements.
• Complete work orders and follow checklists during repairs.
• Collaborate with site management and vendors for repairs.
