Zusammenfassung

Rush Truck Centers, part of Rush Enterprises, is hiring a skilled Technician in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy trucks and engines, with emphasis on safety and high quality workmanship.

You will work on a range of OEM equipment and stay current with factory bulletins. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years as a Class 7/8 technician, a valid driver’s license, and relevant certifications.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins and/or ASE certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries and transmissions.
• Read job order and observe vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Inspect guards, bolts and safety devices and make adjustments as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and drive repaired vehicle to verify conformance to specifications.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
