Swift Transportation in Albuquerque, NM is hiring diesel mechanics/technicians to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on company-owned tractors and trailers. This role offers day shift hours and is based at 301 Airport Dr NW, Albuquerque.

You will work with diagnostic tools, follow OEM and DOT guidelines, and contribute to a safety-focused shop culture. A valid license, background check, and drug screening are required, with opportunities for overtime and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Comprehensive background check.
• Pre-employment hair drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete a quality preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on all company owned equipment, to include tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and support equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, Swift, ect).
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
• Disassemble, repair and re-assemble of Heavy Truck & Trailer components; including but not limited to; refrigerated units, diesel engines, transmissions, axles and any other components or systems.
