Job summary

CSM Kenworth in Cleveland is seeking entry level and experienced diesel truck mechanics for full-time roles. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medium and heavy-duty vehicles, troubleshoot a range of systems, and document repairs clearly for the repair order.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 3–5 years of diesel experience (for seasoned techs), and a valid CDL eligibility. Strong reading, communication, and basic computer skills are required. Benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree or certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years of diesel mechanic experience for experienced techs.
• Personal tool inventory required.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• CDL eligibility required.
• Ability to read repair orders, electrical schematics and bulletins.
• Basic Windows computer skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoot electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine and suspension systems.
• Document repair details on Repair Orders clearly and accurately.
• Use diagnostic equipment to locate faults and determine repair procedures.
• Coordinate with parts and shop foreman on repairs.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and assess performance.
