Job summary

Wisconsin Kenworth in Green Bay is seeking entry level and experienced diesel truck mechanics to repair, troubleshoot, and maintain Class 8 trucks. Excellent benefits offered, with 1st and 2nd shift options available. The role requires high school diploma and preferred technical training.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing corrective actions, and writing clear repair orders. CDL is preferred, and ability to work 8–10 hour shifts with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Reads fault descriptions and determines repair procedures.
• Uses diagnostic equipment to locate faults in medium/heavy trucks.
• Collaborates with Shop Foreman and parts to complete repairs.
• Maintains clear repair orders with causes, actions, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine, and suspension systems.
• Document repair procedures and causes on Repair Orders.
• Coordinate with parts and customers; obtain supervisor approval for repairs.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair effectiveness and problem isolation.
