Job summary

Wisconsin Kenworth in Milwaukee is seeking entry level and experienced diesel truck mechanics to repair, troubleshoot and maintain Class 8 trucks. The role emphasizes accurate fault diagnosis and clear communication with the shop team.

Responsibilities include using diagnostic tools, reading repair orders and ensuring timely, quality repairs. Excellent benefits are offered, with 1st and 2nd shift options available to support a progressive dealer group.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• Ability to read repair orders and electrical schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to obtain a Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Uses diagnostic equipment to detect and isolate faults and interprets results.
• Writes up repair orders with clear causes and procedures.
• Communicates with the Shop Foreman and parts department to obtain needed items.
