Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain and repair diesel-powered equipment, perform inspections, and complete preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.

The role offers an hourly hiring range of $23.00 to $42.00 plus a $10,000 hiring bonus and opportunities for advancement through the Career Pathways program. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 18, hold a valid Class A/B/C license, and have at least 1 year of relevant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment.
• Valid driver’s license (Class A, B, or C).
• Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety-based maintenance and inspections per company policy.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment.
• Diagnoses problems, tests equipment, and ensures reliable operations.
• Maintains accurate records of work and procedures.
• Completes lockout/tagout procedures and supports training and development.
