Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain diesel equipment, perform inspections, and complete preventive maintenance to support safety and customer service commitments. The Tech B role offers a competitive hourly range and a $6,000 signing bonus.

Responsibilities include inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintaining comprehensive work records. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid license, and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; valid driver's license; at least 1 year inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks or stationary equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in adverse weather and physically demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks per company safety policies and regulations.
• Maintain diesel equipment by conducting inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair vehicles, run diagnostic tests, and drive tests to diagnose malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate records for all work and procedures.
