Tyson Foods is hiring a Truck Shop Mechanic for the Albany, Kentucky location. The role includes diagnosing and repairing diesel systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring DOT compliance. A current CDL is preferred and applicants should show at least one year of diesel experience or completion of a diesel training program.

The shift schedule runs Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am. Tyson offers benefits from day one, with relocation not indicated.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of diesel mechanic experience or be a graduate of a diesel mechanic training program.
• Documentation of experience on application or resume is required.
• Current CDL is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose issues and repair diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, drive trains, tires and braking systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT rules.
• Maintain records to meet DOT requirements.
• Coordinate with shop supervisor on vehicle cost statements, reports and analysis.
• Assist in maintaining shop supplies and keeping the work area safe and orderly.
