Qualifications

Diesel Truck Technician (2nd Shift)

Job Duties:

1. Perform mechanical repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks
2. Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
3. Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working
4. Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gauges
5. Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order
6. Keep work area clean and safe
7. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license (having a CDL is beneficial but not required)
• 2+ years' experience as a Diesel Truck Technician or similar position
• Ability to obtain & maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Technical Certification
