Job summary

Heniff Food Grade LLC in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Diesel Truck Mechanic to diagnose and repair tractors and trailers, perform routine inspections, and uphold FHWA safety standards. You will work within a safety-conscious team following environmental policies and company procedures.

The role requires owning your own tools, good English communication, and familiarity with cargo tank inspection equipment; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Experience with cargo tank inspections equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
• Perform annual/systematic 90-day inspections to meet FHWA standards.
• Perform HM inspections.
• Follow safety and environmental policies for handling hazardous wastes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
