Qualifications

• Experienced in the use of inspection and test equipment used for cargo tank inspections.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs tractors and trailers.
• Performs annual/systematic 90-day inspection to ensure equipment meets federal standards.
• Communicates the need to order and receive parts as needed.
• Performs welding repairs as needed.
• Reports directly to the Shop Supervisor.

Skills

Knowledge of vehicle and equipment theory

Ability to inspect tanks and trailers

Knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance

Ability to use vehicle diagnostic software

Education
