Heniff Transportation Systems in the United States (Alabama – Creola) seeks a Diesel Truck Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and general repairs on tractors and trailers in compliance with DOT and FHWA standards.

The role requires reading and following safety policies, using inspection equipment, and performing 90-day inspections while maintaining tools and equipment in a safe working environment. Solid English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must have experience with inspection and test equipment used for cargo tank inspections.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
• Perform 90-day/annual inspections to meet FHWA standards.
• Adhere to OSHA and environmental safety policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
