Job summary

Brandt Industries USA Ltd in Hudson, IL seeks a skilled heavy-vehicle technician. You will perform PDI checks, install mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, and run full functionality tests on trucks and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality. CDL with air brake endorsement preferred; ASE certification encouraged, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in diagnostics and calibration work.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy trucks/equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• 5 years of relevant repair experience; ASE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PDI checks and settings on truck chassis and heavy equipment.
• Install mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment on trucks.
• Conduct full functional checks and diagnose issues.
• Maintain preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Mentor other assemblers and mechanics.
