Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a skilled technician to perform PDI checks, install equipment, and ensure full functionality on trucks and heavy equipment. The role emphasizes diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with preventative maintenance and a focus on safety.

Mentorship of junior staff is included. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience, ASE preferred, and strong diagnostic abilities.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ relevant experience in heavy truck or heavy equipment repair.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in diagnostics and calibration work.

Responsibilities

• Perform PDI checks and settings on truck chassis and heavy equipment.
• Install mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Full functionality checks on equipment installed.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair issues during functionality checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and lubricate moving parts.
• Mentor and oversee other assemblers and/or mechanics.
