Job summary

Peco Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform PMs and annual inspections in the shop, addressing electrical and mechanical issues across heavy equipment.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing systems on skid steers, backhoes, forklifts, and trucks, as well as engine and diesel systems used in various applications. You must bring your own tools up to ½ inch and be capable of reading and communicating effectively.

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must write simple correspondence and present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform Planned Maintenance (PMs) and annual inspections in shop areas.
• Repair electrical and lighting systems, brake work, satellite communication/tracking systems, external engine components, AC blower motors, doors and seals, and some bodywork.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment such as skid steer loaders, backhoes, forklifts, and on-highway trucks.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines used in power generation, marine propulsion, and agricultural machinery.
• Detect faults using gauges, instruments, and laptops; check electrical and hydraulic systems, fuel injection, and engine performance.
• Dismantle and rebuild machine components to manufacturers' specifications; use welding and hand/machine tools; furnish own tools up to ½ inch.
