Job summary

Rush Truck Leasing is seeking a Service Technician to deliver excellent customer service while servicing vehicles and equipment. The role includes cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and parts removal with installation guided by manuals and report writing.

Responsibilities cover general and detailed repairs, engine overhauls, reading orders, safety inspections, warranty tagging, training, and building strong customer relationships. Pay ranges from USD 23.00–USD 41.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• 2 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicle operation to plan work.
• Inspect guards, bolts, safety devices and adjust as needed.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and stay updated with bulletins.
• Develop positive relationships with customers to boost satisfaction.
