Red Classic is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles, trailers, and material-handling equipment. You’ll work independently on daily priorities, with opportunities to mentor teammates and support safety practices.

The role involves basic welding, electrical and mechanical diagnostics, tire service, and operating company equipment including Class 8 tractors. A DOT Brake Inspection certification is required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of relevant, hands-on experience.
• D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles, trailers, and material-handling equipment.
• Work independently while meeting daily priorities and timelines.
• Mentor and support Vehicle Technician C teammates as needed.
• Perform basic welding and cutting torch operations.
• Handle electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs using basic diagnostic tools.
• Service tires: understand tire inflation systems; mount and dismount tires.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and correctly.
• Drive company equipment, including Class 8 tractors.
• Follow company uniform and appearance standards; engage customers professionally.
• Comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions; use power, hand, and diagnostic tools.
