Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the Diesel Industry.
• 3 current ASE T-Series Certifications or will to obtain within first semester.
• Faculty will possess competence to develop, revise, implement and assess the curriculum to ensure students acquire current knowledge, including familiarity with classroom tech.
• Flexibility to teach day and evening classes across multiple sites and possible overloads, including summer teaching.

Responsibilities

• Maintain office hours and campus presence per UA-PTC policy.
• Participate in orientations, professional development, mandatory trainings, events, and meetings.
• Establish positive, collaborative relationships with students, colleagues and staff.
• Utilize syllabus, Blackboard, and class timeline to present information timely.
• Provide accurate records of assessments and final grades.
• Organize advisory committee meetings each semester to engage industry.
• Support student participation in SkillsUSA competitions.
• Align curriculum with ASE standards and participate in program outcomes assessment.
