Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to service trucks, trailers, refrigeration units and APUs. You’ll diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical and brake systems, and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced shop environment.

Requirements include a clean, valid driver’s license, a toolbox with essential tools, and 1+ year of shop experience or tech school certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of shop experience doing DOT annual inspections or brakes, or tech school certification.
• Clean, valid driver’s license.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and handle trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair).
• Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components.
• Handle both interior/exterior trailer cleaning.
• Perform APU service and general road service.
