Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking a skilled Fleet Service Technician to maintain diesel trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot multiple systems, and ensure road readiness, including ABS, FHWA inspections, and tire services.

Expect hands-on work with APU systems and trailer bodies, daily use of diagnostic tools, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced shop setting.

Qualifications

• Clean, valid driver’s license.
• 1+ year of shop experience doing DOT annual inspections or brakes, or tech school certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and handle trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair).
• Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components.
• Handle interior/exterior trailer cleaning and perform APU service/road service.
