Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services in Joshua, TX is seeking a skilled Fleet Service Truck Technician to maintain our refrigerated fleet. You’ll diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and ABS while ensuring DOT inspections are completed and trucks stay road-ready.

We offer night shift differential, ASE certification pay, and comprehensive benefits including PTO, health coverage, and a 401(k) match. Prior shop experience in a transportation setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Clean, valid driver’s license.
• Must possess toolbox and required tools.
• 1+ year of shop experience doing DOT annual inspections or brakes, or tech school certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and handle trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair).
• Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components.
• Handle interior/exterior trailer cleaning and perform APU service.
