Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Waco, TX is seeking a Diesel Technician Trainee. You will be trained on-site to become a Ryder Diesel Mechanic Technician, with weekly pay, on-the-job training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year mechanical experience. Proficiency in English and strong customer service skills are required. The role offers a structured training pathway and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles into or out of yard, wash bay, service shop, or delivered to rental shop.
• Wash and detail vehicles manually or using equipment; fuel diesel, natural gas, and hybrid vehicles properly.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues to shop.
• Attend and complete Technician Training Development Program requirements and assessments.
