Ryder in Dallas, TX is hiring a Diesel Technician Trainee. This entry-level role offers on-the-job paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities to advance through staged pay raises and ASE certifications.

No experience required; you’ll start with basic skills, learn diagnostics and preventive maintenance, and work first shift with weekends off. The program includes benefits after 30 days, PTO, and a clear path to becoming a Ryder Diesel Technician.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles into or out of yard, wash bay, service shop, or delivered to rental shop.
• Perform multi-point inspection on inbound units as required by company policies and procedures.
• Attend and complete Technician Training Development Program requirements and assessments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
