Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Diesel Technician Trainee in Grapevine, TX. The program offers on‑the‑job training with pay increases through each stage of the trainee program.

Expect weekly pay, certification bonuses, quarterly bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days. Schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, first shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, with additional training that advances your skills in heavy duty diesel maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles as directed and fuel as required following safety policies.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues to shop.
• Attend Technician Training Development Program and complete required assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
