Job summary

The role offers weekly pay, paid training, up to $1,500 tool reimbursement, medical/dental/vision after 30 days, 401(k) match, PTO from day one, uniforms and boot allowance, and opportunities to advance as a Ryder Diesel Mechanic Technician.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy vehicles into/out of yard, wash bay or service shop and fuel as required.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues to the shop.
• Maintain fuel island area and assist with basic facility maintenance.
• Complete Technician Training Development Program requirements.
