Job summary

Shift: second shift 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, Monday–Friday, weekends off, with tool reimbursement up to $1,500 and future merit pay increases. This role trains you toward becoming a Ryder Diesel Mechanic Technician, with CDL-A within 6 months after hire and access to state-of-the-art diagnostics

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to communicate in English.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Move and position heavy-duty vehicles as directed.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per policy.
• Support service actions under supervision and document activities.
• Attend required training programs and complete assessments.
• Comply with safety and quality standards.
