Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or in a team.
• Good attendance and time management.
• Beginner level knowledge of machines/tools and shop management systems preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; DOT safety regulated position; safety sensitive; age/hour limits per state.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles into or out of yard, wash bay, service shop, or deliver to rental shop.
• Perform multi-point inspection on inbound units per company policy.
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards; perform facility maintenance and minor tasks as assigned.
