First shift hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with weekends off; CDL-A is preferred for future advancement. Ryder offers comprehensive benefits and a clear path for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn equipment and machinery.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or in a team.
• Track record of performance and good attendance.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• DOT safety regulated position; safety sensitive; age/work hours governed by state law.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles into or out of yard, wash bay, service shop, or delivery to rental shop.
• Perform multi-point inspection on inbound units per policy; check tires, fluids, lights, and report issues.
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards; perform minor maintenance.
• Attend and complete Technician Training Development Program requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
