Ryder System, Inc. in Rochester, NY is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician on the second shift to maintain and repair heavy‑duty vehicles. The role features weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, and a clear path for career growth.

Compensation includes $30.50 per hour, a $1,250 sign-on at 30 days and another at 90 days, plus quarterly bonuses up to $500 and certification bonuses up to $700. Schedule: Tue–Sat; 2:00 pm–10:30 pm Tue–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm Sat.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas/diesel engines including routine maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs inspections and repairs of standard components.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
