The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and replacing tractor and trailer components following SOPs, performing routine rebuilds, and ensuring safety and quality in every job.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must lift 50 lbs or more.
• Own necessary basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Perform preventive maintenance (lube, filters, inspection).
• Repair/replace electrical components (starters, alternators, batteries).
• Inspect and replace engine components as needed.
• Diagnose and repair brake systems and related parts.
• Inspect/replace drive line components.
• Remove/replace transmissions and clutches (R&R).
• Utilize diagnostic computers for repairs.
• Communicate repair status and reasons to internal customers.
• Complete franchise mandated training; travel may be required.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the shop.
