Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI) is hiring experienced diesel technicians in Oak Creek, WI. 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with paid training to become a Transport Refrigeration Technician.

We offer a competitive hourly salary ($25.50–$40.00) based on experience, plus bonuses, paid training, PTO from day 1, and comprehensive health benefits. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain Thermo King equipment while advancing your career.

Qualifications

• Several years of diesel/heavy-duty tech experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent technical training.
• Ability to obtain required technician tools.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Thermo King transport refrigeration units.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and refrigeration components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Service APUs, diesel heaters, and truck cab A/C systems.
• Diagnose HVAC, heating, cooling, and electrical problems.
• Use diagnostic software, test equipment, and shop tools.
• Perform road service calls and participate in an on-call rotation after training.

Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI), a local Thermo King dealer, is hiring experienced technicians in Oak Creek, WI. If you have strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills but limited refrigeration experience, we'll provide paid training to help you become a Transport Refrigeration Technician.

Work Monday through Friday on 1st shift, develop specialized technical skills, and build a career in the growing transport refrigeration industry.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair Thermo King transport refrigeration units
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and refrigeration components
• Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Service auxiliary power units (APUs), diesel heaters, and truck cab A/C systems
• Diagnose HVAC, heating, cooling, and electrical problems
• Use diagnostic software, test equipment, and shop tools
• Perform road service calls and participate in an on-call rotation after training
• Complete repairs safely, accurately, and efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as a Diesel Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Heavy-Duty Technician, Trailer Technician, Reefer Technician, or similar
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience diagnosing and repairing engines, vehicles, trailers, HVAC systems, or heavy-duty equipment
• Refrigeration experience is a plus, but not required for experienced diesel and heavy-duty technicians
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent technical experience
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and motivated to learn
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required technician tools
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
